Samantha Armatys commenced a Doctor of Creative Arts in mid 2017 investigating the intersections between post-humanism, ecology and world literature.
Her novel will trace a transnational narrative, following its characters across the East Asian-Australasian Flyway with the migration of the Eastern Curlew. Samantha has a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science and is interested in multi-disciplinary ecologies that combine science, culture, creativity and philosophy. She is working under the supervision of Gail Jones, Anthony Uhlmann and Ben Etherington.
